The great thing about buying an instrument from Street Musician is you are always covered by my own personal satisfaction and money back guarantee.
I go to great lengths to provide the best quality, professionally hand made instruments from across the world and present them for sale to my readers as accurately as possible, and in the best way I can. This includes any faults, dents, blemishes, cracks or scratches that these beautiful instruments may incur during their construction and creation.
As you can see by the extensive photography provided with these instruments, (see my charango sales page as an example) extreme close ups of faults are readily included and never hidden from my buyers. In fact, I could be accused of underselling my goods, as often close ups of minor faults taken with an 8 megapixel camera will increase the impression of any smaller issues, when otherwise they may be barely visible to the viewer.
I am happy with this as I know any musician who knows their stuff will appreciate the work that goes into these hand made instruments. My customers understand that they are not buying cheap factory made tourist trinkets, but beautiful, well made instruments that have been originally sourced and handcrafted by skilled artisan musicians and luthiers.
All the instruments you see here are bought with the greatest respect for those who make them and at a fair trade.
Due to their artisanean origins, any minor imperfections or abrasions in the finish of these handmade products add to their character and quirkiness.
Being a musician myself, the last thing I would expect when buying from a web site is to be sold an instrument under false pretences and find that when it arrives at my door, it has a whacking great scratch or dent that was not pictured on their sales page.
With Street Musician, what you see is what you get. If you find you are not happy with your purchase, then you may send it back for a full refund.
The last thing I would intentionally do would be to sell my customers an instrument of questionable integrity. This is why all the instruments on this site have also been vetted by a number of non biased sources from across the country including a range of professional salesmen, music teachers and instrument makers to verify their quality.
In addition to this, we are now proud to be able to include one of the UK’s most respected musical engineers – Colin Thompson, who’s knowledge and expertise in all types of stringed and woodwind instruments is second to none.
Colin, who is also an accredited classical musician and author, has kindly agreed to vet all our instruments and test their integrity before they go on sale. This ensures our customers receive good quality instruments at a fair price, every time.
As a musician and webmaster, I believe it is my job to provide good quality instruments, to photograph and describe them as accurately as possible and to sell them to my readers at very good prices.
You have my own personal guarantee that if you purchase an instrument directly from me, and are in anyway dissatisfied with the product or feel you have been mislead, then as long as the item is returned to me, unused and in it’s original condition with all accompanying packaging and extras within 14 days, you will receive a full refund.
All refunds will be made as soon as possible after receipt and inspection of correctly returned goods.
Please note the buyer is responsible for the return delivery expenses and so as to avoid any unnecessary complications regarding damage or non receipt of goods, all products must be returned with adequate postage insurance and proof of delivery.
If you have any questions or queries regarding your purchase (or anything else for that matter) then feel free to contact me using this sites contact page or you can always use the comment forms at the bottom of any of these posts. I will do my best to resolve your issue as quickly as possible.
If you do see an instrument you like the look of here on Street Musician, remember they are hand made and in limited quantity, so what you see here is all I have. Once they are gone, they are gone. You may have to wait some time before another similar item becomes available, so get them in quick while you can, before someone else beats you to it.
