Here at Street Musician, I take great care ensuring the goods you purchase on this site reach you in good condition, at the right price and as quickly as possible.
Any item you purchase here will be sent to you by Royal Mail using the most appropriate service they offer for that type of package and at the most appropriate cost.
I make a point of only charging the customer the same postal costs that I incur for sending the item, a few related materials and adequate insurance. I do not make a profit out of postage and more often than not undercharge the buyer to offset the costs and make the purchase more appealing.
Smaller instruments such as Quenas and Quenachos will generally be sent out by First Class Recorded (signed for) delivery and should reach the buyer in 1 day, although Royal Mail do allow 1-2 working days to cover any potential problems.
Larger instruments like Charangos and classical guitars will generally be sent out using Royal Mail Standard Parcel service with added insurance and proof of delivery. This normally aims to deliver items within 3 – 5 working days and covers goods up to 20 kgs at a reasonable cost.
If you would like your parcel delivered by any other means such as Special Delivery Next Day, then it can be easily arranged but the cost will increase significantly.
All items are sent with adequate postage insurance to ensure any losses or breakages are covered.
For international postage, the most appropriate service would be RM International Standard, which aims to deliver parcels within 5 – 7 working days. If I find, or you know of any other courier that provides a better standard of service then I would be happy to use your preferred courier to post your item.
Please note – If you return a product to me for a refund, the buyer is responsible for the return delivery expenses and all products must be returned via recorded delivery and with adequate insurance so as to avoid any unnecessary complications.
